Chinese Blogger Angry AND US One As Well
Once the news of the atrocities at Tienanmen Square came out, if they had punished the people responsible, that also would have passed over albeit somewhat slowly. If they continue on this route, some believe that revolution is inevitable, and that is upsetting. er, right.... Actual blogger just meant cracking down on corruption. Much of the unrest in China right WAS and STILL IS over illegal land seizures where corrupt officials have confiscated farm land for industrial development in exchange for money, or where corrupt officials have taken money to ignore pollution that is destroying farm land and waterways.
********************************************************************************************************************************************************
HEY, CHINESE, that is also done in USA, but not as OBVIOUSLY or quite as OFTEN. People who fed their cattle on GOVERNMENT LAND for 175 YEARS FOR FREE were TOLD TO PAY or fight US Federals in COURT...SO they FOUGHT Federals in COURT. When MONEY GONE, Bureau of Land Management (BLM) TRIED TO STEAL THEIR CATTLE. This is known as RUSTLING or CATTLE THEFT. MANY Americans SHOWED UP TO HELP those RANCHERS AND THEY WON. A BIG SHOWDOWN like Tienanmen Square ONLY people protesting SHOT and MAYBE SHOOT BACK?..Bureau of Land Management (BLM)decided TOO RISKY...people get SHOT...BIG STINK...MILLIONS ANGRY...so Bureau of Land Management (BLM) backed down...went home..cattle producers can FEED THEIR cattle on the land AGAIN...FOR NOW.
********************************************************************************************************************************************************
If Beijing were to crack down on these corrupt officials, it would end a lot of the protests IN CHINA. Give farmers their livelihood back today, worry about democracy tomorrow. http://angrychineseblogger.blog-city.com World history says otherwise. Democracy is just another way of ruling the people. A dictator can maintain a tight ship and ensure those under him are held accountable, just as well as a democratically elected leader can. Hong Kong was never a democracy (it had leader who was appointed by the British Empire), but it has (OR HAD) a strong legal system that kept corruption down and public accountability up. If the Governor of Hong Kong was found taking a bribe, he'd go to jail. Equally, Italy's outgoing leader was so corrupt that he practically offered himself bribes. He even brought in laws granting himself immunity from prosecution because he was the leader. 21. Like the Bush-Gore election of 2000 in US, the Italian 2006 election wasvery close. Cannot help but WONDER if polling places CLOSE later in certain areas DOES DIRTY DOWN LOW MEDIA DECLARE THEIR FAVORITE --THE VICTOR OR MUST MEDIA WAIT UNTIL ALL VOTES ARE COUNTED? AS IN USA, On April 19, 2006, Italy's Supreme Court of Cassation ruled that Romano Prodi and his Olive Tree Party had indeed won the election, winning control of the Chamber of Deputies by only 24,755 votes of over 38 million votes cast, and winning 158 seats in the Senate to 156 for Silvio Berlusconi's coalition.
*******************************************************************************************************************************************************
Even so, Berlusconi refused to concede defeat, claiming unproven fraud just as that DIRTY DOWN LOW AL GORE had in the USA AND EVEN MORE WEIRD, it appears that Prodi and his Olive Tree Alliance with the (CONSERVATIVE) Union had WON MOST OF THE COUNTRY-SIDE while Silvio Berlusconi and his Forza Italia
Alliance {Liberal-Conservative) with the House of Freedoms had WON THE BIG CITIES. HOWEVER, in Iraly there is NO Electorial College so the CITIES ESSENTIALLY DOMINATE the ENTIRE COUNTRY telling those outside the cities all over the country-side TO GO TO HELL unless they can win with 25,000 votes...Democracy is not just ME GETTING MORE VOTES THAN YOU. The Founding Fathers KNEW that a handful of HUGE cities would dominate thousands of small cities, towns, parishes and villages...SO THEY INSISTED on the Electoral College with votes WINNING STATES WITH THE MOST Electoral Votes...to make it FAIR. BRILLIANT! (There were fully 9 competing parties after those 36,000,000 votes.)
*********************************************************************************************************************************************************
In 2009 Silvio Berlusconi People of Freedom Party Alliance Centre-right coalition had about 17,000,000 or 46% to Walter Veltroni Centre-left coalition with 13,000,000 Pier Ferdinando Casini Union of the Centre with over 2,000,000 votes. It appears if Casini had "made a deal" giving Veltroni all his votes, Berlusconi would STILL have won by over 4%, so the VOTE SPLITTING did not lose, Berlusconi WON because he was better known most likely.
*******************************************************************************************************************************************************
Democracy and freedom are basic human rights and, at the same time, the only way to ensure leaders accountability (real accountability). Even if a dictator could ensure those under him are held accountable it wouldn't be possible to make the dictator accountable (as Tienanmen perfectly shows). More, in a dictatorship potential accountability will always be arbitrary, due to the absence of rule of law. Even if what you say about Italy were right, remember that prime minister was voted out. Democracy, you know. 22. Newshound left. Many disagree because dictatorships can have lots of law, as long as the dictators themselves are also held accountable. Democracy is okay, sure. But under the guise of "the will of the people" just as many "MEAN" things have been done. Note Adolf Hitler and the Japanese Empire for good examples of that. They were democracies, sorta, kinda BUT had an AGENDA that did not include Jews, Gypsies, and many "inferior" people. Another opinion holds forth that dictatorships MAY have a legal system of WRITTEN LAWS but at BEST they are arbitrary LAWS because it is BIASED AND repressive and not legitimated by ALL OF the people. Second, only a fool could seriously say that Hitler regime and Fascist Japan were democracies, in the TRUELY DEMOCRATIC SENSE. Hitler was appointed after elections, but he used democracy to destroy German free will. By their very nature, dictatorships ARE arbitrary, but not necessarily repressive. There is plenty of historical precedent of them being benign, but if communist, they feel obligated to KILL THOSE WHO OPPOSE. It seems that when English, German, and Japanese and western veterans of WWII, AND Japanese, German, Austrian, and Korean ...all said that the people of those nations were whole-heartedly behind the actions of their governments. They were voted in by the people, run by the people, and therefore legitimized by the people. They regret their actions now, but they were behind them before. Or at least, the majority was. Is a dictator voted in by democracy means any less democratic? Just because something is "legitimized" by "the people" doesn't mean it is okay. The converse is also true. Not jumping to conclusions about systems NOT IMMEDIATELY UNDERSTOOD is the lesson here. Sometimes people even confuse a lot of different concepts. Vote (free vote) is a basic element of democracy but it IS NOT THE MAIN democratic concept. The Russians VOTE with OVER 90% participating BUT have only ONE to VOTE FOR, the communists or the ONES CLAIMING NOT TO BE communists since 1989. The concept of democracy is INDEED VOTING but also includes respect of human rights and basic freedoms, rule of law, leaders accountability which is LACKING IN THE USA since 2007 and many other things. When a man or a party achieves power through democratic elections and then eliminates opposition and establishes an authoritarian rule, democracy dies. But you can't blame the victim for being murdered, you should blame the executioner. The fact that democracy can be suppressed by an authoritarian coup is a big reason to defend democracy, not to attack it. To say that, because democracy could be suppressed by authoritarian methods, the solution is to back a dictatorship is a bit silly even when legislative elections were held in the Russian SFSR on 4 March 1990. It was the first relatively free parliamentary election in Russia since 1917. A total of 1068 deputies were elected to the Congress of People's Deputies of RSFSR for a term of five years, 86% of them from the Communist Party, 14% "independent".
****************************************************************************************************************************************************************
Three presidents were since the "bloodless only three DEAD coup) with Boris Yeltsin elected in 1991 and 1996, Vladimir Putin in 2000, 2004 and 2012 Boris Yeltsin had passed the power to Vlad Putin in 1999) and Dmitry Medvedev in 2008. The Communist candidate of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (CPSU) or the Communist Party of the Russian Federation) has finished second in every case: Nikolai Ryzhkov in 1991, Gennady Zyuganov in 1996, 2000 and 2008 and 2012, and Nikolay Kharitonov in 2004. Only in 1996 has there been a third candidate who gained more than 10% of the votes in the first round, Alexander Lebed.
************************************************************************************************************************************************************
NOTE: The Russians changed the presidential tenure from FOUR years to SIX in December 2008,but apparently forgot to tell President of the Russian Federation
Президент Российской Федерации is Vladimir Putin since May 7, 2012 when he was "elected". In 2024 Vlad Pu is supposed to sit out a SIX YEAR TERM before resuming the reins. It "appears" that Vlad Pu will either STAY ON after 2024, sit out FOUR (4) years and come back OR sit out SIX and be back in 2030 apparently after "pulling the strings" since before 2012 and after 2024.

http://angrychineseblogger.blog-city.com Many believe that democracy should be the goal of society, but some see it as simply being a method for choosing who runs China or other countries, and as being wholly separate from the issue of a just and free society. Of course, there CAN BE a good system without a good leader, or a good leader and a bad system. Sometimes a dictator who oversees a country with a strong and fair legal code and who ensures that the people have freedom of speech MAY be the case as was the case in Hong Kong up until the Chinese handover. Hong Kong had an impartial civil service that worked for the good of the people and an independent legal system that was as free from corruption as its western counterparts. Freedom of the press was assured, as were human rights. However, the "AFTER HAND-OVER" leader was an undemocraticly selected foreigner with almost no knowledge of the Asian way of life. This MAY BE SEEN TO prove that democracy is not essential for a civil society to be free. Equally, there are many democratically elected leaders who are elected into corrupt systems, like in Africa and Latin America, and many leaders who are elected but who then refuse to STEP DOWN and become dictators. For the first time in the USA, an elected president MAY NOT BOTHER TO run things through Hillary Clinton esp if she loses to TRUMP, and OBAMA MAY DECIDE TO STAY AND ESSENTIALLY REMAIN DICTATOR since Obama DOES AS HE WISHES ANYWAY and CONGRESS just ALLOWS him to do as he pleases. Obama FIGURES THAT HE HAS NOT presided over WRECKAGE AND DESTRUCTION OF CAPITALISM and PRODUCTIVITY enough so MAY JUST TAKE OVER. Lots of Moslims MAY create enough DESTRUCTION, LAWLESSNESS, and MAYHEM when coupled with Obama's DESTRUCTION,LAWLESSNESS and MAYHEM and RIOTING to TILT THE SCALES and totally slime out the presidency. The US government has enough bullets and more than enough guns...to execute every man, woman and child, or just 300,000,000 so that Obama's "forces" can rule outright or rather outWRONG.
*********************************************************************************************************************************************************
As another example, Robert Mugabe in Zimbabwe was elected and he inherited a comparatively, kinda, sorta, free and fair legal system and press, but he became a dictator and destroyed them. "Muggy" led confiscation from Dutch farmers just as Zimbabwabian as blacks, Muggites killed them, then the ENTIRE country WAS and MAY VERY WELL BE STILL starving because Muggites do not farm well. This is why Communists are so Klingon warlike. Their regime destroys producers then attacks producer neighbors to take their production in order to sustain itself. East Germany was looted and polluted by Russia then released to West Germany which seemingly uncomplainingly unpolluted and rebuilt what Communism destroyed and sacked off to Russia. The term freedom and fairness are also highly subjective. For example, Ameirca and Britain are both democracies. The US president is elected directly by the people and this is considered the only fair and democratic way to do this. However the British leader is not selected by the people. He is selected by members of the dominant political party (which is selected by a multi party electoral system), and you can only join that party if you pay an anual fee. Another example is that America and Japan both have independent judicieries, yet America considers Japan's system to be unfair because Japan outlawed trial by jury in 1943 and has only just brought in legislation to bring it back in a limited form (and not due for full introduction for a while yet). However, many Japnaese consider the Ameircan system to be unfair because juries can be tricked or fooled by smart lawyers or crying 'victims'. Similarly, European Union (EU) nations often consider both the American and Japanese legal systems to be backwards because they still have the death penalty. This is WHY mass murderers caused the Charlie Hebdo massacre and then followed up with Paris Massacre causing cartoonists across the world to deliver a defiant riposte to Islam's terrorist faction. Long ago, Europe outlawed death as a cruel and unusual form of punishment granting long sometimes life vacations for murderers. Another example is free speech. Both America and Germany say that they have free speech, yet in America Hate Speech is legal, which Moslims say is unfair because it means that Christians, Jews and other Americans can say things in a nice way, but it is illegal in Germany for the Nazi, which the Nazi say is unfair. First. "Elected" leaders in corrupt systems are not "democratically elected leaders". Lukashenko, Putin, and Mugabe were "elected" but nobody can seriousy call them "democratically elected leaders". The same for Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (Persian: محمود احمدینژاد, Mahmūd Ahmadinezhād or "I'm a Dinner jacket". In 2003, a 12% turnout elected conservative candidates from the Alliance of Builders of Islamic Iran to the City Council of Tehran. The Council appointed Ahmadinejad mayor. As Tehran mayor, Dinnahjacket wrecked moderate and reformist mayor predecessor changes, trashed women's rights such as re-separation of elevators for men and women in the municipality offices, and suggested that people killed in the Iran–Iraq War be dug up and re-buried in major city squares of Tehran. Dinnahjacket also worked to improve the traffic system, with police sometimes directing traffic, and emphasised charity, such as distributing free watery soup to the poor.
After his election to the presidency, like US Democrat and Republican candidates lately, Ahmadinejad's resignation as the Mayor of Tehran was accepted on June 28, 2005. Hassan Rouhani was elected as Ahmadinejad's successor and took office on August 3, 2013. In these countries "elections" are unfair because they are carefully manipulated or because unpleasant opposition candidates are not allowed to participate. They "vote" Russian style, but they don't have a democracy. Second. A non-elected leader who grants civil freedoms and human rights is not a TRUE dictator. There are few examples in history but, accepting the Hong Kong example of fairness before the handover, not so much afterward, of course it was not a democracy but nobody would seriously call it a dictatorship. Once again. The voting-issue is an essential element, but the distinction between democracy and dictatorship is MUCH MORE than that element. A qualifying set of factors, some of them mentioned above need to be considered for a truly correct evaluation. It is virtually impossible to separate the concept of democracy from the issue of a just and free society if you do not want to fall into sophistry or just THINKING a country is FREE. We HOPE and PRAY noble, brave ACB (NOT sports) is not DEAD or devastated in prison. Site was TAKEN DOWN by "authorities" who may have given him the equivalent of Saudi Arabia's 1000 lashes? Saudi Arabian blogger Raif Badawi, sentenced to receive 1,000 lashes, FREELY given the first 50 in January 2015, as reported by the Inquisitr, is said to have received a suspended sentence and a “royal pardon” from Saudi King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, according to the CBC. First noted to be "offensive" in 2012, the Saudi government sentenced Raif Badawi to 1000 lashes in 50-lash portions, to be over 20 weeks. Raif Badawi was also fined $266,000.
he got a postponement in June of 2015 but it was decided that he might not survive another 50 since the first almost "finished him off".****************************************************************

http://angrychineseblogger.blog-city.com There are a great many world leaders who were elected in genuine elections that were not rigged by people demanding to vote without picture ID. Voting without identification happened in FRAUDULENT and corrupt systems. "Democratically elected" simply means that they recieved more votes than their opposition, and did not get PENALIZED for anything unacceptably underhanded to get those votes. No DEAD PEOPLE voting in Chicago. No ballot box stuffing, no intimidation of voters by New Black Panther Party, no banning of opposition candidates. There are many many examples. It appears that Mugabe WAS ACTUALLY democratically elected the first time and it was only later on that he rigged the election and became a dictator. This was WHY he was an example of a democratically elected dictator, even though very few Dutch farmers, if ANY AT ALL, voted for him. "The voting-issue is an essential element, but ACTUALLY ONE CAN base the distinction between democracy and dictatorship only on that element." If Democracy is ONLY the means that a leader comes to power, having freedom and justice is preferable to not having them, but you can have a democracy where the people have few human rights. You are right, Hong Kong was not a STRONGMAN-RUN dictatorship, but it was a colonial dictatorship and probably had a lot of fair-minded local administrators BUT Hong Kong had rule by foreign political appointment. The people, having NO ELECTIONS, had no right to choose their leader. If this isn't a dictatorship, what exactly is it? Democracy as self-rule is NOT an empty shell, but full of substance. Democracy is not merely "legalistic", theoretic (and often incorrect) terms, but in political terms. Anyway, concepts have been mentioned. Democracy CAN BE an empty shell in places like Zimbabwe, Germany, Japan, and Korea democracy can be "changed about" in a bad way. Some people GRANT democracy some sort of "holy" substance that it does not inherently have. Korea today is a fine example of democracy, yet they still have historical revisionists in power similar to Japan and China, they censor the internet and shut down websites that go against the party line, there is a draft for military service, very strict "loyalty laws", etc.. This CAN BE SEEN AS NOT really very "democratic" according to STRICT PURITANICAL definition. Just because something is a democracy doesn't mean it's "good". Not necessarily "BAD" either, it just means there are more ways it can go wrong. Don't deify political systems. THAT'S what happens just before they go horribly wrong. (It's the ONE WAY or NO WAY...opposition gets shut down and has NO SAYSO over what transpires. A BRILLIANT CONSTITUTION like that of the USA that has been emulated and COPIED and put into effect around the WORLD is a GOOD example of what TRUELY WISE and PRUDENT Constitutional law can DO. A BILLION people in over 100 countries WORLDWIDE cannot be convinced against their will that something is "JUST OK". The US Constitution is EXCEPTIONAL and those that SUBVERT IT to their own WILL are usually being dictatorial if not self-gratifyingly ARBITRARY. It is the "WHAT I SAY GOES BECAUSE I AM THE BOSS!" that makes for tyranny. BTW, the USA is a constitutional REPUBLIC or it was before misinterpretation of "entitlement" came to be. That would be back in Congressman David Crockett's day, early 1800s, when he opposed giving away the taxpayers' $20,000 as "charity". Congressman David Crockett knew that "charity begins at home" as in "LOCALLY" and that INSURANCE and PRUDENCE make government "charity" totally unnecessary.)
***********************************************************************************************************************************************************
http://angrychineseblogger.blog-city.com ******************************************************Actually, Japan is the complete opposite of China. The Japanese government does not participate in revisionism, instead it refuses to prevent revisionists from doing what they do, and rather than making up its own version of history, it refuses to intervene and ensure the purity of history. This allows revisionists to operate with near impunity, but it also allows writers like 本多勝一 (Honda Katsuichi a Japanese journalist and author most famous for his writing on the Nanking (Nanjing) Massacre) and men like 東史郎 (Azuma Shiro) to refute them. (A.S.was a Japanese soldier who openly admitted his participation in Japanese war crimes) (It would be VERY INTERESTING to SEE a Japanese soldier's SWORN-IN prosecutable-if-not-100% correct WITNESS ACCOUNT...since ATROCITY best describes what happened to NANKING or NANKIN or now which is now Nanjing New and High-Tech Industry Development Zone.)People might be able to publish revisionist text books, but people can also publish true ones. In fact right now there is only one real revisionist text book in circulation, and that is considered to be a joke in Japan. Only 0.04 percent of schools use it, and even then people don't actually believe it. As for Korea, during the early days the Korean government was NOT really a democracy, but was a puppet government taking its orders from vested interests, instead of the will of the people, then a majority with NO HEART can TYRANNIZE a minority and say "THAT'S for the 1860s! Actually, the 1860s were NOT ALL THAT BAD compared to homelessness, unemployment and rampant disease AFTER the Civil War, but very few have written ANY history about THAT for FEAR of chastisement). Even in the 21st century, Korea is very young, and it cannot be expected that such a young government would be as free and fair as an old government like America was in the 1950s. First should be a period of stability as was that of America being the Thirteen Colonies. Establish a society with freedom in mind, then bring the freedom in. If you start out trying to be free and fair, you often end up with a complete mess like that seen in much of Africa. Too many voices, too many conflicting interests, too many outsiders sending in mercenaries like in Rhodesia. Release from colonial rule USUALLY MEANT that the strongmen and war lords rose to power and became dictators. ACB felt in 2006 at least, compared to China, Korea is the model of democracy. (Also Taiwan, Formosa or name chosen by ChiComs. Zeelandia was a principal Dutch colonial city on Formosa from 1624–1662) The problem is that as someone posting from Japan it's automatically assumed that I am Anti-Korea and Anti-China. Because of this, when I comment on the things that I see here regarding Japan's whitewashing, regardless of evidence, I'm called biased. I am NOT biased. I think whitewashing is stupid since like people whitewashing a fence is stupid, including myself. If someone shows me evidence that something is a lie, I change my mind. That's how I started being more on Japan's side, previously I followed the Korean platform. Anyway, back on topic, I agree. You can't go from dictatorship (20 years ago), to a completely free nation quickly. Ideals and culture have to evolve, and those things cannot be forced. That's why Russia is so screwed up. (SECRETLY so foreign aid still misappropriated for GRABBING.) http://chinacommunistparty.blogspot.com PLEASE SPREAD '9 ping' (writing of the evil Chinese Communist Party from EchoTimes) to all your friends, and stop the evil killing acts of CCP (And abuse of People who like YELLOW!)!!! President Obama comments on his reelection: I (CENSORED) you nekkid you hapless, stinkin' - Repiglickins! Seriously tho, thanks for the lame loser you always run against me! Special THANKS to John McCain for the incumbancy and Willard (Mittens) Romney for not mentioning unmentionables that would have doomed my re-election on 2012. Romney was PERFECT! He undercut all the GOP candidates and kicked their onions. He said nothing about Andersonville, my certified birth certificate, my "08 draft notice or the college transcripts nobody can see. Thanks Romney for ignoring my human faults while I helped you with every flaw you ever had and every possible sin you might have put on people. You killed the right people when you shepherded their companies by firing them. You overlooked my flaws like a good drinking buddy even though you never touch the "stuff". For being an all-around sweetie, you can go through "my junk" anytime and I promise I will not muss your impeccable beautiful HAIR. The economy is roaring, GOP bad boys of Congress are all HELPING ME by keeping my Obamacare paid so the Repiglickin's will always be second best. They are MUCH TOO STOOPID to just vote "PRESENT" and let everything pass of my wildest dreams 233 to ZERO and 61 to ZERO. Remember to oppose the Tea Party, evangelicals, and NEVER,NEVER say socialism is bad. Some fragmentation is to be expected and even encouraged. Who needs that "RIGHTIST CONSERVATIVE INPUT anyway! Let's call that the RACISM it is because NOBODY opposes me that is NOT racist, bigoted and homophobic of MY credits. After all, the whole world knows I modeled my Obamacare after ROMNEYCARE, the stimilus was a complete success to people I REWARDED, and I have something for EVERYBODY STOCKING this year. Gonna get rid of nasty coal-fired electricity, get the price of electricity UP, cancel drilling in any kind of water, bash evil corporations, small business ALWAYS needs MORE regulations, RULES, and TAXES. And the RICH are going to pay all the bills this country has and EVER will have. 山寺宏一 @yamachanoha AKA O-Dam you and the rigged election you rode to golf and vacationland in on. TEAM UK congratulated its athletes while Team USA (was there a TEAM USA on Twitter?) said a few words and a few tweets.

UK had the "home team" advantage so why should self-involved Americans root for people who tried and failed or GOT a record 104 medals. Encouragement is for Dancers and Singers on TV. The athletes will do OK with their own and family encouragement. Look in the mirror people and say,"GOOD EFFORT, you won the GOLD!" OR SILVER or BRONZE". We cannot support people who look like us, what would people THINK! They would THINK we are all GUNG HO at the GOGO for our team! Or that we are RACISTS! We save that cheering for persons of color on the football field! As Americans, we are justifiably proud after witnessing winter Olympics 2006 with 9 gold, 9 silver and 7 bronze, second only to snowly Germany. Had Estonia STILL been part of Russia, possibly Russia TIED with Germany in GOLD.

Russia Superleague are in the old Soviet League, founded in 1946. Soviet era dominated by the Red Army-affiliated CSKA Moscow, who won 32 of the 46 championships. The league ended 1992 with Soviet Union's "collapse"AKA "reformation". Transformed into the International Hockey League, the league was rechristened the Russian Hockey League in 1996. From 1996 to 1999, league membership Russian-only, then in 1999, membership opened to allow non-Russians; league went international, renamed the Russian Superleague.
